The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong condemnation of recent Iranian assaults on Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan, citing them as significant threats to regional peace and stability. The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs labeled these strikes as blatant violations of the affected countries’ sovereignty, expressing unwavering support for the nations targeted.
In addition to addressing the assaults on these countries, the UAE also criticized the attacks on Iraq’s Kurdistan region. The ministry warned that such hostile actions could further destabilize an already volatile region.
In Kuwait, authorities reported that an Iranian strike had targeted a power and water desalination facility, resulting in a fire and causing considerable damage to several electricity-generation units. This incident underscores the severe impact of these attacks on critical infrastructure within the region.
Meanwhile, Jordan’s military revealed that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed three Iranian missiles that penetrated the country’s airspace, averting any casualties or material damage. Similarly, Bahrain’s armed forces reported the successful interception and destruction of multiple Iranian aerial threats.
These aggressive actions occur amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, marked by ongoing military exchanges between Iran and the United States, further complicating the region’s security landscape.
