Recognizing exceptional talent, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, recently celebrated the achievements of four students from Dubai Schools Al Khawaneej. These students made headlines after clinching a gold medal at the Greenwich International Innovation Olympiad in London.
The victorious team, comprising Ali Al Jarwan, Khalifa Al Marzouqi, Omar Al Balooshi, and Saeed Abu Al Shawareb, earned top honors with their innovative “Smart Irrigation Train” project. Their outstanding work stood out among competitors from 80 different countries, securing them first place in the prestigious competition.
Sheikh Hamdan lauded the students as exemplary figures for the youth of the UAE, highlighting their dedication, creativity, and tenacity. He emphasized the pivotal role that innovative young minds play as the cornerstone of a nation’s advancement and prosperity. According to him, their achievements serve as a beacon of inspiration for their peers.
