UAE Unveils Tech-Driven Drive for Public Support of President Sheikh Mohamed

Date:

The United Arab Emirates has unveiled an initiative aimed at rallying citizens and residents to express their support and allegiance to President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This campaign acknowledges his pivotal role in enhancing the nation’s security, stability, and international reputation. The initiative, named “Pledge and Commitment,” was announced by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan at a significant event held at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre. This gathering brought together over 4,800 attendees, including citizens, residents, students, investors, academics, and business leaders.

Central to the campaign are four guiding principles: fostering unity and coexistence, drawing inspiration from leadership values, bolstering civic responsibility and national identity, and showing gratitude for the nation’s prosperity and stability. The campaign aims to spotlight President Sheikh Mohamed’s contributions to national development. Following its launch, the initiative expanded to the digital realm through a dedicated website and QR code, enabling widespread participation across the UAE. Organizers have planned to sustain the campaign through collaborations with companies, universities, and community organizations, complemented by multilingual online engagement and public events.

This campaign emerges in the backdrop of a period marked by national solidarity following regional security tensions earlier this year. Consequently, there has been a surge in public displays of patriotism, with UAE flags prominently displayed at homes, offices, and public buildings. This follows calls from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to celebrate the nation’s resilience and unity.

The pledge itself is a declaration of loyalty and support for President Sheikh Mohamed, recognizing him as a leader committed to safeguarding the nation’s security and promoting progress. Participants who join the pledge online receive a digital certificate of appreciation, which can be downloaded and shared, further encouraging engagement and participation.
